Facilities Upgrade for CBRFC

Community Facilities in Rhos on Sea Colwyn Bay

CBRFC has exciting new plans to refurbish and update its current facilities. The members have identified a growing requirement for our Club to embrace the local community and provide a much needed venue for not only the benefit of the Club, but also for the benefit of a wide range of other local organisations. These organisations are local charities, bridge clubs, football clubs and businesses. Furthermore        residents and businesses would be able to avail themselves of up to date facilities to hold private functions such as birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, retirement parties and many other activities for their own benefit.

Although we will always be a Rugby Club we would like to become a Club which is able to recognise and invite organisations, other Clubs and local residents to share our facilities. To be able to do this we need significantly to improve and update our existing facilities to accommodate these many other community needs.

We are proposing to update our kitchen facilities which are in urgent need of an upgrade which will     en-able us to provide catering facilities for those wider range of needs. We also need to upgrade the Club house with more up to date and inviting décor to attract private and corporate bookings to include an extension to the front of the main function room to run the length of the building. We also need to upgrade our changing room facilities and our carpark.

When completed our Club will have unrivalled facilities which will be available to the wider community for bookings 7 days a week for either daytime or evening functions, meetings and events.

We intend to submit grant applications to help fund our proposals early in the New Year and would be grateful for any support that you could offer in support of our plans.

On this basis we need support from you and your organisation please could you provide me in the form of a letter any information on:-

  1. How the project will benefit you personally, your organisation or your business
  2. Bringing added value to your organisation and the local community or you personally
  3. How you or your organisation would wish to get involved in the project and if so in what way

I would be very grateful for your letter of support which can be returned to the address above or emailed to trilby.edwards@colwynbayrugby.co.uk.

We would greatly appreciate your support in this venture and wholeheartedly believe that we can make a significant difference within our area by providing a much needed venue not only for Clubs and organisations but for the private sector.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Yours truly
